Oregon public health officials say teen girl has bubonic plague

Oregon public health officials say teen girl has bubonic plague

On October 16th, a teen girl went on a hunting trip near Heppner, a small little city Oregon. When she was on this hunting trip she was bit by a flea. Five days from when she was bit, she became ill. The bite had effected her horribly and resulted with her receiving the Bubonic Plague! Yes she is hospitalized because she went there there days after she was bit. Her condition currently is under investigation, but what they do know is she is in ICU awaiting more tests.

Analysis: The Bubonic Plague can be deadly if not caught early enough. The Bubonic Plague was more common in the early years and is very rare now days. It is carried by squirrels, fleas, chipmunks etc. When the animal dies it's fleas can carry the disease by biting humans or other animals! This is just one person getting it, so it's not so severe right now with it spreading to others, but anyone can get bit by a random flea that was carrying the disease!

Army officer recommends no jail time for Bowe Bergdahl, attorney says

An Army officer is recommending Sgt. Bowe Bergadahl face a lower-level court martial and possibly be in jail for his whole life, for leaving his post in Afghanistan. Bergadahl has left his post before in 2009, when he was captured by the Taliban. The date he left June 30th. He was held just about until last year, because he was exchanged for more Taliban commanders. The commanding officers in Afghanistan state that "A 45- day search for Bergdahl put soldiers in danger." It is up in the air on how long Bergadhal should be in jail, but defense attorney says that his term in jail would only be a year. "It's a self-inflicted wound for the Army." This issue is still being talked about because it is so current, and many of the spokesmen for Navy, Army etc. have their opinions on it also. They believe that everyone needs to maintain careful reespect for the military-judicial process.

This issue could lead to many things and cause conflicts in many different ways. We don't need anymore targets than what is already occurring. Especially in this case, with the Taliban. I totally agree with the spokesmen. Everyone needs to respect the forces for one, whether it's the military, army, navy and their process of doing things.

“Oregon Shooter’s dad: ‘That’s what guns are, the killers” -Paisley Norburg 5th

In Oregon at a community college was Christopher Harper Mercer, a student who was the gunman in this incident and killed nine people. Before killing himself, he ranted about how he didn’t have a girlfriend and thinking everyone was “crazy.” Christopher’s mom shared, that he was struggling with mental health issues. Everything is still not normal at Umpqua Community College, but people are slowly trying to get back started again. While many students are talking with professional people/ groups about this issue and hoping to get through it together. there was a memorial for the nine killed and Christopher, because he killed himself after a shootout with the police.
The healing process to this trauma incident is slowly but surely in action. There is still lot’s of information that is behind this, yet until for now. While investigations is in play, there will be more information soon and help put an end to this. The way everything is being handled after this issue is mature and effective. While everyone is waiting for more answers the family is still trying to cope with everything that has happened this past week.
