In Oregon at a community college was Christopher Harper Mercer, a student who was the gunman in this incident and killed nine people. Before killing himself, he ranted about how he didn’t have a girlfriend and thinking everyone was “crazy.” Christopher’s mom shared, that he was struggling with mental health issues. Everything is still not normal at Umpqua Community College, but people are slowly trying to get back started again. While many students are talking with professional people/ groups about this issue and hoping to get through it together. there was a memorial for the nine killed and Christopher, because he killed himself after a shootout with the police.
The healing process to this trauma incident is slowly but surely in action. There is still lot’s of information that is behind this, yet until for now. While investigations is in play, there will be more information soon and help put an end to this. The way everything is being handled after this issue is mature and effective. While everyone is waiting for more answers the family is still trying to cope with everything that has happened this past week.
